About me

I build at the intersection of technology, social sciences and personal memory.

I am Cüneyt Kaya, an independent web developer and digital consultant based in Germany, with a strong interest in long-term knowledge work.

In 2018 I moved to Estonia to begin my M.A. in EU-Russia Studies at the University of Tartu. Through new people and a shifting world, I developed a serious interest in web technologies alongside my academic work. In 2020 I transferred to the University of Münster through Erasmus, and afterwards decided that Germany was the right place for me.

In 2022 I was accepted into the M.A. programme in History and Culture of the Baltic Sea Region at the University of Greifswald — and I have been in Germany since. Throughout these years I also developed my freelance web practice. With a background in social sciences, digital skills and trilingual communication, I work with clients on both content and technical infrastructure.

2018 · education

University of Tartu and first steps in web development

I moved to Estonia to study EU-Russia Studies in Tartu. A changing world and new people around me sparked a serious interest in software and web technologies. My first freelance web projects also began during this period.

2020 · archive

Erasmus, Münster and the decision to stay in Germany

Through Erasmus I transferred to the University of Münster. After my studies and an internship, I decided that Germany was the right place for me.

2022 · education

Greifswald and a second master's attempt

I was accepted into the M.A. programme in History and Culture of the Baltic Sea Region at the University of Greifswald — and have been in Germany ever since.

2024 · web

Freelance web development

I focused on WordPress, PHP and web solutions for small businesses, personal brands and independent projects.

2025 · projects

Building my own digital products

Tools, personal applications and automation ideas became connected through the kayacuneyt.com ecosystem.

2026 · strategy

A personal digital home and Digital Tamam

kayacuneyt.com became the personal archive and publishing platform, while Digital Tamam serves as the service-focused brand.
